1850 (9 Jan.) entire letter to London, rated "1/-" in red, showing good to fine "paid/at/dominica" Crowned circle in black with partial London Paid arrival d.s. alongside and, on reverse, clear Dominica double-arc d.s.; stained filing crease and other lesser faults clear of the handstamp. A fine example from the first period of use from 1845 to 1858 and rare in this colour. Photo
