(x) Volskas Bank (Peoples Bank), Southwest Africa, a serial number 2 set of the 1 June 1949 series comprising 10 shillings, serial number K/1 000002, blue, pink and green, landscape with village and church, mountains in the background, reverse blue and mauve and pale green, value and bank title, £1, serial number A/1 000002, brown and pale yellow, a view of Windhoek with Christ Church, Tinten Palast Administrative building and Parliament Gardens, reverse brown and pale blue, value and bank title, also £5, serial number S/1 000002, brown and pale pink-red, the Epupa waterfalls on the Okavango river at left, reverse brown, gemsbok antelopes at right, bank title and value. All are signed by Cornelius Wolfhaardt and Joseph Bosman
(Pick 13, 14, 15, TBB B301a, 302a, 303a), uncirculated and a spectacular number 2 set. The number 1 set is in a museum and the grade of the number 2 set apparently far superior. A spectacular group from a series where the condition is usually somewhat circulated (3)
