Swakopmund: 1916-18 selection of registered mail (5, three censored), comprising 1916 (Sept.) to Switzerland with six values to 6d. and with German registration label changed in manuscript to "British", 1916 (Oct.) to Okahandja bearing 2½d. (2) and with unchanged German registration label, 1917 (July) envelope addressed locally and bearing 5/-, small registration handstamp, 1918 (Nov.) envelope to Okahandja bearing 2½d. pair and with large registration handstamp in violet, all four cancelled with converted German datestamps (Putzel 7), and 1918 (July) 1d. envelope, uprated with 4d., to Windhoek, cancelled with double-ring datestamp (Putzel 5a) and with German registration label with "Deutsch" deleted and number changed.
