1863 (7 Dec.) envelope to New Jersey, bearing United States 1861 3c. rose with "steam/ship" cancellation, showing red crayon "4" (deleted), clear red "nassau/c/de 7/63/paid" d.s. and blue manuscript "Due 2" denoting the Captains fee; the envelope with tear at top caused by opening and some other minor imperfections.
