1872 (12 Nov.) entire to Holland, bearing 6d. green (2) clearly cancelled by St. Kitts c.d.s. with year date inverted and reversed, showing red crayon "5" overwritten "11", red London Paid transit d.s. with arrival datestamp (28.11) on reverse. A rare franking and destination. Photo

Note: This cover was initially franked with a single 6d. cancelled with St. Kitts c.d.s. and marked "5" in manuscript. It was then realised that the letter was underfranked and a second 6d. was added and similarly cancelled. The manuscript "5" was then overwritten "11".
