1862 (11 Feb.) envelope (334x141mm.; folded) from the Governor to London, marked "Registered Letter", rated "7/9", showing fine circular undated "st kitts/paid" and oval London Registered arrival d.s. with despatch double-arc d.s. on reverse; the envelope with some peripheral faults and a little soiled, nevertheless a fine example of this marking on registered mail.
