1872 (July) envelopes (2) ex the same correspondence from Charlotte Town to Montreal, the first dated on 15th. bearing 4c. yellow-green cancelled "13" in oval of bars and with datestamp alongside, the second dated the 24th. bearing 3c. rose cancelled with datestamp and with a further strike alongside, short paid 1c. which was apparently not noticed by the P.E.I. or Canadian postal authorities, arrival datestamps on reverse; both a little truncated and with other small faults though an unusual pair.
