1869 (late May) envelope from Charlotte Town to Paris and thrice redirected, bearing perf. 11½-12 3d. blue strip of three, vertical pair and singles (3) each cancelled with pen cross and additionally with largely light strikes of an oval of bars, showing London Paid (15.6), oval-framed "pd" and Calais entry datestamp (16.6) datestamp, all on face, the reverse with despatch and various French transit datestamps; a couple of the adhesives with faults (one folded partially on to reverse) and part of flap missing, nevertheless a remarkable and unique franking to France.
