1864 (7 Nov.) envelope from Charlotte Town to Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, bearing perf. 11½-12 6d. yellow-green and perf. 11 9d. lilac (3, one defective) all cancelled "13" in oval of bars, showing London Paid datestamp (22.11) in red, oval-framed "unclaimed" in blue and framed "not known by/letter carrier" handstamp, the reverse with despatch, Melbourne (11.2) and Sandhurst (12.2) datestamp; flap detached and re-affixed, and a few other small faults though a remarkable franking with only three covers known bearing three 9d. values, this being the unique example to Australia.
