3d. dull red bisected diagonally (touched on one side) and 6d. olive-yellow with good margins, tied by oval grid "1" on 1859 (13 Dec.) envelope "By Steamer via Halifax NS" from St. John to London, showing despatch datestamp and with London Paid arrival datestamp (26.12) tying both the adhesives; the bisect and envelope with faults though rare and not unattractive.
