1942 (2 May) envelope to Alor Star, bearing Pahang Dai Nippon 8c. scarlet cancelled with "perak/taiping/yubin kyoku" c.d.s. in red (Proud JD2; two weeks earlier than recorded), showing censor chop on both front and across seal on reverse, recipient's notation on face and minor soiling though a fine and visually striking cover.
