Indian Mutiny 1857-59, no clasp (Lieut. H. C. Lee 1st Madras N.I.), good very fine

Henry Corbett Lee arrived in India in 1847 and was appointed Lieutenant in November 1853. Having risen to the rank of Captain, he died during the 1860s. His widow Ellen was re-married to Lieutenant-Colonel The Laird of Strathmartine at All Saint's, Edinburgh in January 1870 (Dundee Courier, refers).
