Auction: 176 - The Philatelic Collector's Series Auction
Lot: 637

Great Britain postal history lot filling two cartons, likely approaching if not exceeding two thousand covers, a veritable treasure trove for the postmark enthusiast, noting c.d.s, squared circles, duplexes, slogans, and more, as well as censored covers, redirected mail, registered, military usages, mourning covers, air letters, foreign destinations, and picture postcards, also with two shoe boxes filled with perfins, almost entirely on cover, most being KGVI and QEII-era, including Machins, though note many earlier including Victorian examples, wildly varied condition, an unsorted accumulation of commercial mail that would make for an ideal sorting project.
