1885 appendix sheet bearing nine perforated colour trials denominated thirteen cents, pence values (4) in lilac and rupee values (5) in green, each showing a different "insurance" overprint colour, annotated with proposed face values and initials, produced after De La Rue recommended to Crown Agents that the 1879 Insurance set be reprinted in new colours using doubly fugitive inks. The proposal was not adopted. Spectacular and unique. Photo
