Superb collection (200+) on stock sheets including 1869 ¼lb. to 15lb "small and medium packages" complete sets fine unused in both black and red colours, (for Consumption and Warehouse Excise respectively), beautiful 1874 ornate issues for Boxes in red (2, different types) and black, and 1881 Caddy issues (2) for snuff and chewing tobacco, 1883 Coupon stamps, 10lb. to 100lb. (scarce), fresh unused as issued showing various perforation and paper types, all 'tall leaves' but for 35lb. green, 1897 large format 5lb. to 70lb in red, small format 1lb. green, blue and red (3), one of the red examples without serial number, the remaining issues later cigarette and tobacco bands and stamps (including proofs), showing a myriad of surcharges and different types. A marvellous group of these beautiful yet under-rated issues, ripe for further study. Photo
