1949 (30 May) Mortgage Bond page bearing 1943 Series 31 £5 orange "Bantam" pair (a complete unit), 1933 £1 black block of ten (2x5), Series 34 2/- light blue and orange and 1938 Postage/Revenue 1/-, 5/- and 10/-, for a total franking of £20/18/-, cancelled by "registrar of the high court/ maseru, basutoland" oval datestamps in violet, with two red pen strokes applied to page after cancellation. A wonderful showpiece showing both rare bantam usage and a large multiple of the popular £1. Photo
