1930 (2 June) envelope flown on the third stage from Jesselton to Kudat, franked at 28c. with special framed "air mail/Aeroplane/north borneo" cachet, showing despatch datestamp alongside with light arrival datestamp (4.6) on reverse; also Post Office Mail Receipt for one bag and showing Kudat c.d.s. for June 4th. 10 covers were carried. Note: On June 3rd S1419 and S1149 flew to Kudat, and on June 6th, to Sandakan. The airmail fee for the North Borneo flights was 25 cents in addition to normal postage. A special chop was used on all flights which carried mail in North Borneo.
