1931 C.W.A. Scott Record Flight England - Singapore - Australia
Scott left Lympe on 1 April in a DH60M Gipsy Moth, G-ABHY, with stops including Karachi and Singapore. He arrived in Darwin on 10 April, setting a record of 9 days, 4 hours and 11 minutes, bettering Kingsford Smith's by about 19 hours.
