1858 (16 Apr.) entire letter from Bahia and (17 July) entire letter from Pernambuco, both ex the same correspondence to Harbour Grace, the former rated "1/-" and showing Liverpool (22.5) and light arrival (8.6) datestamps on reverse, the latter marked "p Express" and showing rare handstruck "3", light arrival c.d.s. with St. John's transit d.s.
