1810 entire to a Navy Agent in London, carried on H.M.S. Antelope" 9the flag ship of Admiral Sir J.T. Duckworth, (later appointed as Governor of Newfoundland on 26 March 1810), rated "1/2" and showing oval-lined "ship-letter/Crown/plymouth"; 1814 (4 Jan.) entire letter (transcription included) from Sampson Busby at Carbonear to Thomas Blanchard in London, rated "1/1" and showing fair "Ship Letter/Crown/pool"; 1815 (9 Sept.) entire letter (stained) from Trinity to Newbury Port, Massachusetts, rated "14" (including 50% war surcharge) and showing "ship" h.s. and Boston transit d.s., both in red; 1817 (12 Aug.) entire from Trinity to Notts., rated "1/-" and showing Poole mileage h.s.; and 1817 entire (a little soiled and stained) to London, marked "10oz", rated "6/6" (deleted and overstruck by London Inspector's Crown) and "8/8", and showing Halifax transit d.s.
