Plate 43: TF good to very large margins all round and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at upper right, tied by black Maltese Cross cancellation to entire from Liverpool to Halifax, dated 30 April 1844 (the last Official day of use of the Maltese Cross), Stowerby Bridge u.d.c. on the front, Liverpool (30.4) and Halifax (1.5) datestamps on the reverse; the entire a little soiled and has been somewhat overwritten on the front, nevertheless a major line-engraved rarity.
