1898 (Sept.) envelope (vertical fold at centre) from Rev. Ernest Millar to Scotland, bearing 4a. with pencil and blue crayon crosses in combination with 2½a. deep blue (stains) tied by Mombasa datestamp in blue (only used from August to October 1898), the reverse with Zanzibar (16.9) and Stirling (16.10) datestamps. Also 1898 (Sept.) front from "B.T." (Bertha Taylor) to Manchester, bearing 4a. in combination with B.E.A. 2½a. deep blue sharing Mombasa datestamp for 10 October in blue-black with a further strike below. Photo
