1957 (2 Oct.) stampless visiting card envelope to the United States with Official cachets on front and reverse and including the visiting card of David Ben-Gurion (one of the founders of the State of Israel and Prime Minister 1955-63); fine. Also 1943 (14 May) envelope registered to London from the Mauritius detention camp at Beau Bassin (for so called illegal immigrants into Palestine, deported to Mauritius) franked 1938 3c., 4c. and 25c. with violet "passed by/censor/mauritius/b4" cachet; traces of staining and each stamp with small pen mark in "c" of value. Scarce.
