1888 (21 Sept.) envelope from Vryburg to England, bearing 2d. in red on 2d. lilac and black strip of four twice cancelled "555" and with despatch datestamp below, Cape Town (26.9) and Macclesfield (16.10) datestamps on reverse; the envelope and stamps with a few small imperfections though a rare franking with Holmes only having strips of three.
