1905 (20 Aug.) pen and ink and hand-coloured envelope (100x228mm.; folded), headed "mis-adventure of a claim-inspector in n.w.r.", depicting of a man half way up a tree being chased by and elephant, addressed to Dr. Vigne at Bulawayo, bearing 1898 Arms 1d. vertical pair and single (all defective) tied by rare "kasampa/n.w. rhodesia" double-ring d.s. which was only in used for a short period and showing arrival datestamp on reverse.
