1879 (14 Apr.) yellow firms envelope from Callao to Scotland, bearing Peru 1868 1d. green (2, one with paper join) sharing Callao British Post Office datestamp in combination with G.B. 3d. rose Plate 5 wing-margin pair similarly cancelled and with central "C38", "insufficiently/+/prepaid" handstamp in red with manuscript "Too late franked 4/-" below; minor soiling and a little creased though a scarce and most unusual franking.
