1864 (10 May) entire from Pointe-A-Pitre "Per Steamer via Havana" to Philadelphia, bearing French Colonies 1859-65 imperf. 5c. and 40c. strip of three cancelled with diamond of dots and with despatch datestamp alongside, rated "1/-" in red ink and showing a fair strike of the Crowned Circle "paid/at/guadeloupe" handstamp partly over-cancelled by circular-framed "steamship/10" handstamp, the reverse with British Post Office Guadeloupe (12.5 with year date error "8164") and St. Thomas (14.5) double-arc datestamps; the face panel with light overall toning though an attractive franking.
