1850 (26 May) entire letter from Spain and hand-carried outside the mails to Cuba, placed in the post at St. Jago de Cuba where rated "2/-" and showing a fine strike of the very rare Crowned Circle "paid/at/st. jago de cuba" alongside framed US "30" rate handstamp, single slit for disinfection and showing, on reverse, St. Jago De Cuba double-arc datestamp (3.8) and, across join, Kingston, Jamaica datestamp (5.8). An exceptionally rare cover with only a handful of this Crowned Circle recorded, and a very late date of use of both this and the datestamp.
