University Life Assurance Society, £100 share, 1825, #490, attractive coats of arms of Oxford and Cambridge Universities at top, medallion and scrollwork left, black, on vellum. Acquired by Equitable LIfe in 1919 then the largest mutual life company in the world. in 2007 bought by Reliance Mutual and again operating under its own name. Small piece missing from bottom edge otherwise VF.
