Ullswater Navigation & Transit Co. Ltd., £25 shares, 19[07], #73, of only 480 shares issued, deer in scrollwork at left, brown, red seal, printed by Waterlow Bros & Layton. Formed in 1855 as Ullswater Steam Navigation Co. to operate steamers on this large lake, considered by some to be most beautiful in the country. Renamed as this in 1900. Acquired by the Wakefield family in the 1950's. Ink cancelled over signatures, GVF and rare.
