La Real Compania de Comercio Establecida en Barcelona, Accion 250 Pesos at 128 Quarters, Barcelona 30.5.1756, #373, printed on vellum. This Barcelona Trading company was founded in 1755. It was granted the monopoly on trade with Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico and Venezuela (Margarita Island) and trade concession allowing trade with Buenos Aires. Lack of capital led to the company's activities being taken over by the Filipinas Company in 1785. Some creases and a small missing piece right border, slight discolouration. Part of seal missing.
