Partito Nazionale Fascista prestito "Casa Littoria", 5% Obligazione L500, Roma 1938, #003284. After Benito Mussolini's fascist party seized power, it planned to create a representative national headquarters: the Casa Littoria in the area of the Foro Italico. The construction was designed in 1935 by the architects Debbio, Foschini and Morpurgo, winners of the competition for ideas. In 1943, works were interrupted and then resumed in the post-war period by the Italian State. In 1959, the building, now called Palazzo della Farnesina, was completed, with slight variations on the original design. It serves as headquarter for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic. In the centre picture of the Farnesina. EF.
