1889 (5 Mar.) envelope registered to Switzerland, bearing 1871 3c. and 1875 2c. to 12c. set of five all cancelled by "sarawak" 26mm. c.d.s., arrival c.d.s. "7 xi 98" (year date error) on reverse; two creases clear of the adhesives. An unusual cover as it should have been also franked with Straits Settlements stamps for onward transmission from Singapore but no tax appears to have been charged or collected. Believed to be the only cover known cover bearing both issues in this quantity. Photo
