1859 Lapirot, 2d. blue, intermediate impression with four good to large margins, position 6, variety complete double impression, neatly cancelled with mute barred oval and two quill strokes leaving variety clearly visible. Two small tears in left and right margins, with pressed diagonal creases, nevertheless an extraordinary new discovery, which we understand will be listed in the next Stanley Gibbons Commonwealth Part 1 as 38a.
