1868 (Feb.) envelope registered from Galle to Mauritius, marked "Per Steamer, Stamped & Registered Telegram", bearing 1867-70 CC 4d. rose pair (small faults) and 1867 3d. (defective) with the registration presumably being paid in cash, all cancelled by oval of bars, showing "galle/paid" c.d.s. and "galle/registered" oval h.s., both in red, "4d/to pay" h.s. in blue with arrival c.d.s. (5.3) on reverse; the envelope with some faults though a very rare franking. Photo
