Collection of forms, postcards and envelopes (60) and pieces (25) all bearing 'Army Telegraphs' cancellations or relating directly to the service on the Western Front, including dispatches from both French and British soldiers, a wonderful "pigeon service" unused form, postcards depicting telegraph offices and troops setting up the lines, the used forms bearing fascinating messages. Offered with the author's research on the cancellations which will allow buyer to identify where each piece was used. A marvellous collection.
