MK non coincident re-entry, shaved at left, large margins other sides and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at top, tied to entire letter, dated 29 Oct. 1840 to Grays Inn, by superb, upright, experimental black Maltese Cross and red "T.P./Cornhill" unusually cancelling the stamp; horizontal filing fold and a trifle soiled.
