1914 (Jan) envelope from Barbados to Canada, bearing 1d. red (another floated off) tied by a fair to fine strike of the "from wreck of s.s. cobequid" handstamp; a scarce example from the small amount of mail recovered from this vessel which struck the Trinity Ledge Rock near the entrance to the Bay of Fundy on the Nova Scotia coast, during a gale and blizzard.
