½d. yellow-bistre, 3d. blue, 8d. magenta and 5/- indigo imperforate proofs on gummed watermarked paper, the ½d. in "die proof" form with large margins, affixed to individual printer's record sheet pieces of ruled paper (101-114x197mm, the other two 177-182x240mm.), all but the 8d. marked Approved in various forms and dated between 1941 and 1946; 3d. with a horizontal crease, otherwise fine and a unique group.
