1855 (19 Jan.) mourning envelope from St. Joseph to Bridgetown, bearing 1852-55 (1d.) deep blue with good to large margins and cancelled with superb "6" obliterator, the reverse with equally fine "6" and "1" datestamps; later notations cover large part of face panel though leaving stamp and cancellation clear. Recorded by Roett as ex Deakin though not in his sale catalogue. S.G. 4. Photo
