Henry VIII (1509-47), third coinage, Groats (2), both Tower mint, 2.40g, m.m. lis, henric 8 di g agl fra z hib rex, saltire stops, crowned facing bust 1, rev. posvi dev adivtore me, saltire stops, long cross over shield, annulets in forks; 2.34g, as previous but with trefoil (defective saltire) stops (N.1844; S.2369; Stewartby p.526; Laker A), the first cracked, good fine, the second nearly very fine with surface marks (2)
