(x) Kingdom of Libya, archival specimen 10 Libyan pounds, 1 January 1952, serial number A/1 000001-A/1 100000, purple-brown and multicoloured, King Idris at left wearing fez, bushes and palm tree in field, reverse purple-brown and multicoloured, value at centre and at each corner
(Pick 18s var., TBB B107s var., Mehilba P18s var.), perforated and ink annotation 'Approved subject to elimination of the cross 22-1-52'. Interestingly the issued notes are printed without the cross', a fascination note and very rare, uncirculated ink date '3.7.51' in top margin, soft creasing otherwise a fresh and original about extremely fine and very rare
