Turks and Caicos, 1822-1940 postal history collection comprising 79 items, of which just one during the stampless period, an early 1822 folded letter to U.S., otherwise mostly bearing Q.V. issues, with several registered mails bearing up to four-color frankings and attractive mixed frankings with different issues, better values with 1893 ½d on 4d grey single on wrapper to Bermuda, scarce multiples, later issues with 1900-04 D.L.R. on attractive illustrated covers, 1913-21 ½d in mixed franking with U.S. 2c pair, local cancellations including Cockburn Harbor and Salt Cay, maritime mail with Paquebot markings or Dutch Ship cancels, taxed mail bearing Cayman Islands adhesives, War Tax Issues; a comprehensive and mainly very fine lot.
