#15L18, Blood's Penny Post, (1c) Black, large margins all around, tied by red "1" in oval cancel to lady's cover with matching Blood's double circle datestamp, entered the mails with 3c Dull red (#26) tied by open grid and with matching octagonal "Philadelphia, Pa.,Nov 22, 1858" datestamp, cover with tear and stained spot affecting the Philadelphia datestamp, otherwise fine and rare; the red cancellation was only in use for five days from 22-26 November, 1858, with only sixteen examples recorded, of which this is an earliest recorded example.
