Hong Kong collection balance comprised of mint and used 19th century singles and virtually all mint 20th century singles, sets, souvenir sheets and varieties in mounts on Minkus pages, noteworthy are 1862-80 issues mostly used including the 96c Bister and 4c perf. 12½, but also mint 2c Pale yellow brown, 2c Dull rose, 16c Yellow, 18c Lilac, 30c Vermilion, 30c Violet and 96c Gray, then 1876-80 surcharges used, an 1974 $3.00 Violet mint and $10.00 Rose used, 1880 12c on $10.00 unused, many 1885-91 surcharges mint or used, 1890 $2.00 Gray green mint, 1890 "S.O." overprint on 10c used, 1891 Jubilee both mint and used, 1897 $1.00 on $2.00 Sage green and Gray green both mint, and QEII complete never hinged with all the definitive sets, commemoratives and souvenir sheets to 1997, as well as some varieties, especially inverted watermarks, including 50c Churchill, the collection ends with all the Postage Dues, including the first set watermarked sideways, some 19th century with no gum, off center or small faults, but overall quite clean for these with most fine-very fine; well worth a good look.
