France predominantly mint collection housed in four Scott hingeless albums, from the early 19th century issues to 2000, the classic period mainly represented in used condition, the 20th century being the very strong part of this lot, which is remarkably collected n.h., including 1923 Bordeaux exhibition, 1925 Paris exhibition souvenir sheet with Sismondo certificate, 1926-27 Orphans set, 1929 Pont du Gard with different perfs., 1937 Pexip souv. sheet, etc, airmails from 1930 including 1936 50fr Green and 50fr ultramarine, "coin datés" blocks of four in many issues and featuring several of the better semi-modern sets and values, postage dues, booklets with mainly red-cross examples, otherwise the most significant being the 1930 "Smile of Reims", some scattered épreuves de luxe after 1950; the classics with some faults, otherwise the modern after 1900 obtained intact; an outstanding collection being worthy of close inspection.
