Burma King George VI specialist collectors accumulation and stock of many hundreds with strength in mint housed in two large stockbooks, the first being straight stamps with overprints on George V mint to 5R including an 8a block of four with inverted watermark, a complete used set and 2R and 5R officials in n.h. blocks of four, 1938-40 George VI mint (2) and used, mint blocks of four, plus mint 2R (90) and 5R (18), 1939 officials mint and used, 1946 in mint singles (2) and blocks of four and the corresponding officials in mint singles and blocks of four, 1947 overprints in mint singles and blocks of four as well as a mint set of officials, plus the 1R (44), 5R (12) and 10R (26), the second stockbooks contains a plethora of varieties, both major and minor, including mint 1938 2a6p "Birds over trees" variety (2), 3a6p "Tick bird" flaw, 1940 Centenary with "Birds over trees" (2), 1945 2a6p "Birds over trees" and 3a6p "Extra trees" (3), 1946 2a6p "Birds over trees" (3) and 3a6p "Curved plow handle," many1947 overprint varieties including inverted and double and much else, occasional quality problems but generally o.g., l.h., n.h. or used fine-very fine; a great lot for the King George VI specialist.
