#13, 1862-63 1p Brown, particularly intense shade, ample to huge margins showing tiny portion of neighboring stamp at right, tied by Lima c.d.s. to March 26, 1864 folded letter to Cochabamba, Bolivia, endorsed "Via Tacna" and "P. Vapor", carried overland from Tacna to destination, with indistinct strike of c.d.s. on reverse, probably applied on receipt; a superb stamp, being rare on cover, and further enhanced by the external destination.
