Trebisonda, Trabzon, Turkey; 1867, Spetember 5 registered folded cover, opened for display, directed to Venice, bearing an extraordinary franking to pay the 76 soldi rate, made up of #15, 1863 2s Yellow, #21, 23, 24, 1864-65 3s green, pair and single, 10s Blue, pair and three singles, 15s Brown, tied by blue "Trebisonda" c.d.s.'s (Tchilinghirian fig. 981), Constantinople, Trieste and Udine transits, struck on receipt on one of the 10s denominations, a spectacular four-color franking including two issues, of great visual impact, one of the great rarities of Austrian Levant; 1996 Enzo Diena certificate.
