S.G. #J56ha, 1942 "4A" surcharge on 4s+2s Green and red surcharge commemorating the fall of Singapore, surcharge omitted in pair with inverted surcharge, unused (no gum) bottom sheet-margin vertical strip of three, the top pair the variety, strong and intact perforations, very fine and rare; this variety only came to light about 1986 and only five examples have been reported (S.G. £800).
